My mother gave this Telephone brand of psyllium for diarrhea and constipation when I was a child: with yogurt for diarrhea (no lactose) and with milk for constipation. In my adult life I use it with yogurt as my breakfast for cholesterol lowering and glycemic properties. By adding some antioxidants like dates or blueberries you can make it even healthier. Psyllium husk is much better than psyllium powder to use in yogurt, much less likely to get stuck in throat and esophagus.
Amazon has it at a good price and now I do not buy it from Indian grocery stores.
